“The District Rotary Baseball at River City Rascals” night is scheduled for Thursday, August 6 and information and sign up sheet is attached.  Zach Ziler of the St. Peters’ club is handling this opportunity for a night of fellowship, fun and baseball.  The Rascals have a beautiful facility (T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon, MO) and they will be playing the Southern Illinois Miners.  This will make an inexpensive district and club outing with tickets at $7 each and game time is 7:05 PM.  Zach needs a headcount so please contact him with questions and with your club's final numbers for the game 2 weeks before (July 23).  

Each club President will be invited to throw out a first pitch and we will also have an opportunity to give a short talk about Rotary and our mission.  This will give Rotary and our district great exposure.  That night is also a  Buffalo Wild Wings Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 beers available through the 5th inning in the Beer Garden.  It is also Budweiser Pennant Giveaway Night to the first 1,000 fans.

All Rotary Clubs in District 6060 should pay their District Dues in July every year.
The current dues formula is ($20 per member) + $140 = District Dues for your club.
The members paid for should be exactly the same number reported to Rotary International
on the Semi-Annual Report submitted in July of the same Rotary year.
Checks are payable to "Rotary District 6060" and mailed to the current District Treasurer.
A sample District Dues statement, which includes the District Treasurer's address can

Make a copy of your district dues statement and your check for your club's records
before mailing it to the District Treasurer.

All Rotary Clubs should complete their Semi-Annual Report by July 31 every year.
This is a report the Club Secretary receives from Rotary International in late June.
The club pays dues to Rotary International, along with magazine subscription fees,
insurance fees and other misc. fees.
The club secretary should make a copy of this report before submitting to
Rotary International with their check.
The report can be completed on Member Access at www.rotary.org and paid with
a credit card.
