Jerry Weems

 Jerry comes from a family rich in Rotary tradition with over a half century of Rotary service. Jerry began his active involvement in Rotary in 1980 at the invitation of his father (Mel), a past president of the Bonne Terre Club who also had over 49 years of perfect attendance. Jerry’s wife Susan is a former Rotarian and she and their son, Josh, are Paul Harris Fellows. Jerry’s brother Roger was District Governor in 1985-86 and his niece Beth is a former Rotarian and past club President. Jerry has served in several offices, including two separate terms as President (1998-2000 and 2005-06) for the St. Francois County Club and was honored as Rotarian of The Year 2004-05. Jerry is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, served three years as an Assistant Governor and three years on the Show Me Planning Council (PETS/SETS) and chaired the Evaluation Committee.
Jerry is a graduate of Lindenwood University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and is a Financial Representative with COUNTRY Financial, having spent the past 24 years in the financial services field. Jerry is highly involved with community activities and was honored as the first Ambassador of the Year for the Farmington Chamber of Commerce (2005), where he currently serves as a board member. He is also past president and current board member of the United Way of St. Francois County, past board member of with the Park Hills Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Friends of Scouting Steering Committee
