Cataract Surgeries in Brazil

This project is funding cataract removal surgeries, complete with intra-ocular lens implantation for approximately 350 patients at the Base Hospital in the Federal District of Brasilia, Brazil. 

This US $16,000 project is a partnership between the Rotary Club of Brasilia Aeroporto, in Rotary District 4530, Brazil and the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau County in  Missouri USA Rotary District 6060, with additional funding coming from Rotary District 4530, Brazil, Rotary District 6060, eastern Missouri, the Blindness Prevention Donor Advised Fund and The Rotary Foundation.
