Matching Grant #54551 Cataract Surgery Project Moradabad, India |
| This project was developed between the Rotary Club of Moradabad North in India, D3100 and D6060 in Eastern Missouri, partnering with D6710, Western Kentucky, and D6510, Southern Illinois. The Rotary Club of Crestwood/Sunset Hills graciously consented to be our International Sponsor Club. Additional funding was also received from the Avoidable Blindness Donor Advised Fund. |

The Rotary Club of Moradabad North is an active club, shown above dedicating a new Rotary Library in their region of the city. |
Moradabad North Rotarians look over some of the books in the new Rotary Library. |

The club members have routinely supported the various National Immunization Days. Some visiting Rotarians work with Moradabad North Rotarians (above) immunizing young ones against Polio. |
The funds from this new matching grant will provide the consumable supplies used to give eyesight back to 1,400 poor blind people. These patients are blind from cataracts and can regain their eyesight when the cataracts are removed and an intra-ocular lens is placed. Some of the surgeries will occur at the Apollo Eye Clinic, pictured above. |
