Cleft Lip Surgery Project

This matching grant project will provide the funding to help 500 poor children receive reconstructive cleft lip surgery. Where they may have been shunned by society, they will now be able to attend school and participate in society without prejudice.

The children are being selected from many towns and villages within D3160, including Guntakal, Nandyal, Bellary, Vidayanagar, Hagaribommanahalli, Hiriyur, Tadpatri, Hindupur, Proddatur, Bethamcherla, Raichur, Kurnool, Kadapa, and Anantapur
 

 This $35,000 project was developed in the 2004-2005 Rotary year as a district project between District 6060 and District 3160. Governors Martin Anders and Dr. Indira Reddy agreed to sponsor this project to help 500 children.
