ROTARY STRATEGIC PLANNING WORKSHOP
FOR DISTRICTS AND CLUBS

Held in conjunction with the Rotary Zones 30-31 Institute

Dear Rotarian,

Every great organization begins with a vision and a strategic plan as a roadmap.  Rotary Districts and Clubs should be no different.  Rotary International has provided a framework for a Strategic Plan.  The plan comprises three priorities, all of equal importance to Rotary's future: support and strengthen clubs, focus and increase humanitarian service, and enhance public image and awareness.  Clubs and Districts can use these three priorities in the RI Strategic Plan as a basis for developing their own plans, tailoring them to their size, the varied skills of their membership, and the needs of the communities in which they serve.

When: August 25-26, 2010

Where: Sheraton Music City Hotel, Nashville Tennessee

Who Should Attend:  District Trainers, Club and District Strategic Planning Leaders, all interested Rotarians

Cost: $60 per person. Includes Thursday lunch and all workshop materials.

RI Vice President Tom Thorfinnson, a member of the RI Strategic Planning Committee, assisted by PDG Jerry Franklin (District 6080 Missouri), will lead a lively discussion and interactive workshop.  You are sure to come away with many great ideas for implementing Strategic Planning in your District.

The Strategic Planning Workshop will be held in conjunction with this year's Rotary Zones 30-31 Institute in Nashville.  The session will begin on Wednesday, August 25th at 1:30 and conclude on Thursday, August 26th.  The cost is $60 per person and Thursday lunch is included. You do not need to register for the whole Institute to attend.
