Rose Cooper joined the St. Louis Rotary Club in 2002. She served as the second woman president in Club 11 in 100 years. Her Presidency in 2009-2010 was the club’s Centennial year which culminated with the club’s 100th Gala.
Several of the club committees Rose has served on include the President’s Council, the Board of Directors for Skyway Farm, St. Louis Rotary Welfare Fund, St. Louis Endowment Fund, and the Golf Committee. She served multiple years as Membership Chair, and also served as Co-Chair of Community Service, and president of the Bowling League.
Rose served as Co-Chair of the District Membership Committee, Administrator of the District Facebook and social media pages, Annual Giving Chair and Paul Harris Society Chair of District 6060’s The Rotary Foundation committee.
Rose and her husband Bill are Major Donors and Rose is a Charter Member of the Paul Harris Society. Rose is a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute. She is a member of the Rotarian Action Group for Peace, District 6060 Rotary Leadership Institute, Missouri RYLA Board, Rotarians on the Internet, Rotary Means Business, and Women in Rotary.
Rose served six years on District 6060 Show Me Planning Council (PETS/Sets) and has been on the District Conference Committee for the past six years. Rose, a lifelong learner, graduated from The Entrepreneur’s Fast TracII Program at St Louis University and attended Webster University studying public relations and website design. She enjoys Rotary, volunteering, website and graphic design, social media, reading, learning and bowling.
Rose is Vice President of B&R Industrial Products, a supplier of replacement batteries and chargers for industrial and commercial equipment. Rose’s husband Bill is an honorary member of the St. Louis Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and a Major Donor. They have two children and seven grandchildren.
