|
| The Matching Grant Program matched contributions raised by Rotary clubs and districts for international service projects involving Rotary clubs in two or more countries. Frequently, these were World Community Service (WCS) projects, posted on the Rotary International website on the ProjectLINK. Many clubs doubled the effectiveness of their efforts with these one-time grants of up to US$150,000. Our district has sponsored close to 150 Matching Grants from 2001 - 2010 and details about many of them can be linked to from the index above. |

| Since we are one of the 100 Future Vision Plan pilot districts, we are no longer taking part in Matching Grants, but are using the Future Vision Plan grant system of District Grants and Global Grants. There are still approximately 431 Rotary districts operating under the previous foundation program structure until July 1, 2013, when all Rotary districts will begin using the Future Vision Plan grants programs. |

| With this new system, there have been drastic changes. All Rotarians from clubs within District 6060 should contact our District Foundation Chairman and District Grants Chairman as soon as they identify a Rotary Foundation Grants project they would like to work on. |

Email District 6060 Foundation Chairman for more information.
